Position: Junior QA Engineer(Power BI)
Project Overview
We are looking for a Junior QA to join a project focused on the enhancement and support of Power BI reporting. The project aims to improve management and operational analytics, ensure data quality, and increase the stability of reports used by business stakeholders and executives.
Key Responsibilities
Testing Power BI reports and dashboards.
Verifying the correctness of calculations, KPIs, and business logic.
Data validation: reconciling report data with source systems (CRM, Excel, databases, etc.).
Testing data refresh processes, filters, slicers, drill-down and drill-through functionality.
Identifying, documenting, and tracking defects; collaborating with Power BI developers and analysts.
Preparing test cases, checklists, and concise test documentation.
Requirements
Must have:
Basic understanding of software testing principles.
Strong attention to detail and ability to work with data.
Basic understanding of BI reporting and analytics.
Confident Excel skills (filters, pivot tables, basic formulas).
Ability to clearly describe and document issues.
Nice to have:
Experience with Power BI (user-level or basic hands-on).
Experience testing reports, dashboards, or analytical systems.
