Sardina Systems is an OpenInfra software platform company based on OpenStack and Kubernetes.
We’re looking for a Product Manager who’s brave enough to take manage to identify potential customers, communicate the value proposition to the identified potential customers, and ultimately drive sales.
We would like you to be located in the time zones between GMT and GMT+3, working remotely with the rest of our 100% distributed team.

What You’ll Be Doing:

— Promote and sell Sardina solutions: Communicate product values to prospective customers and channel partners
— Build understanding of and engagement with prospective customers
— Build strong relationships with channel partners, customers, and account teams, ensuring revenue growth on existing customers
— Pre-sale tasks, such as design, quotation, product presentations, and negotiation all the way to post-sales operations such as contracting, order submission, and lifecycle support
— Processing customer feedback for product improvement;
— Cooperate with internal teams such as Service Delivery, Service Assurance, Billing, Contracting, Legal, and Product in order to support the customer efficiently
— Take control of personal pipeline and manage a portfolio of business engagements
— Technical team coordination and planning

What You’ll Need:

3+ years of experience in a Product Management position
Clear understanding of cloud computing, particularly in the OpenStack, Kubernetes, VMware, Nutanix, Ceph markets
Experience in B2B
Understanding the business, partner and customer needs and design end-to-end product solutions that meet these needs
Experience in a fast paced growth environment or an entrepreneurial experience
Excellent people and relationship building skills, across all seniority levels
Excellent communication skills, negotiation skills and logic in prioritizing projects and selecting appropriate business opportunities
Ability to work well as part of a team, driven, relentless and a proven closer
In-depth knowledge of working in the local market (ideally in a high-growth environment), with a strong network and direct connections to various stakeholders, particularly hardware and software resellers and services players
Passionate about technology in general and cloud in particular
Strong product positioning skills
Ability to work independently
High degree of motivation and is target driven
Ability to rapidly understand the positioning of products and services targeting enterprise customers
Ability to rapidly research other players in similar and related areas of business
Patient, methodical, and diligent approach to understanding prospects, customers and channel partners
High degree of responsibility, a strong sense of urgency and the ability to prioritize needs
Fluent in English (language skills in Russian, German, Dutch, French, Swedish would be a plus)
English communication skills (written and spoken)

Will be a plus:

Experience in enterprise software and solutions sales, or professional services/consulting sales to enterprise customers
Understanding of enterprise sales and channel processes
Experience developing insightful proposals and delivering strategic sales presentations, with the ability to communicate technical concepts in simple English to non-technical persons
Relationship building and cooperation skills, analytical, planning and organizing skills, creativity, problem-solving skills
Experience working with sales teams, technical teams
Experience working in bid/tender preparation and management
Education in law, and understanding of commercial contracts
