Senior Java Developer
Job Location: Montenegro and remote (hybrid)Onsite presence required: 4 days every 2 weeks (tbd)Job Type: Contract, full time, T&MJob Duration: long termStart: asapResponsibilities:Design, develop microservices application using Spring Boot w/ JavaConvert the functional requirement specification into a working functionality and/or APIProvide programming experience to design, test and build the application effectively and efficientlyCollaborate with peers and medior developersApply DevOps concepts and Security principlesActively participate in designing development guidelinesParticipate in design and code reviewsExpected Competencies:Minimum 3+ / 6+ years of Java experienceTeam playerDesire for continuous learningStrong critical thinking skillMentoring skillsHonest & direct communicationTechnical Skills and Proficiencies:Strong knowledge in Spring Boot, Java 11+.Experience with RDBMSUnderstanding of how streaming technologies work such as Kafka.Ability to write clean and sustainable codebase.Proficiency in developing RESTful APIs.Experience with Docker and Kubernetes for containerization and orchestration.Experience with testing tools and frameworks like JUnit, Mockito, TestNG, and Selenium.Familiarity with agile methodologies.Experience in designing and developing microservices.Experience in continuous integration and delivery.Familiarity with event-driven architecture.Advantages:Proven track in Java Spring Boot, Microservices.Strong understanding of CI/CD processes and automation.Hands-on experience with agile teams.Experience in understanding and communicating business requirements.Camunda is a big plus for this position
